First I want to apologize about delaying my second post. It was a super busy year in school. Time was eaten away like chocolate is by people every day. But thanks to summer break.... I'm back!!! :)
I just recently took a look at OMG Yahoo's "2 Hot 2 Handle" pictures on their official website. Some of the clothing deserved the spotlight and others were questionable as to why they made it into the weekly spicy section.
The first picture they have of is showing Miley Cyrus at her album release party in Madrid. Even though she's wearing Christian Louboutin boots, the addition of the black Saloni leggings gives me the impression that she's going to the rodeo. I do love the tye-dye top though.
The next picture of Emma Watson at the National Movie Awards is lovely. The Karl Lagerfield frock is very unique and definitely captures my attention. I would add a vibrantly colored belt to go with it though. It seems to be missing something in the middle.
I can't stand what Gwyneth Paltrow is wearing at the National Movie Awards. The pink Prada dress is not flattering at all. The top of her dress seems to big and pouches out at her waist. The whole look reminds of Barbie. No originality. What was her stylist thinking? What was OMG Yahoo thinking of putting her on the "Hot" list?
Sarah Jessica Parker's dress at the Tokyo premiere of the Sex In The City sequel is even worse. The Vivienne Westwood gown has way too much volume at the bottom. Maybe my strong dislike for florals is lowering my opinion of this gown but it looks like it was ripped off a grandma's old couch.
I'm not sure exactly what to say about what Alicia Keys wore at a charity event in London. The lavender-hued Dolce & Gabbana cocktail frock is extremely daring on Alicia but it is a little over-the-top. I have to give her props for wearing it while being pregnant.
OMG Yahoo called Ciara's black Givenchy gown at an art exhibition in the Big Apple, "smoking hot". More like smoking not. I think the gown would look stunning if the long Star Trek themed sleeves were completely eradicated. Maybe Givenchy has something though, a peek into our futuristic style of fashion.
Ending on a sweet note, I was surprised to be mesmerized by the Alice + Olivia gown that AnnaLynne McCord wore at the 2010 Gracie Awards. I'm not usually into the gowns with tons of layers but the gown designed by Stacey Bendet is tastefully done. It's absolutely gorgeous! Kudos to Stacey Bendet!!!
You can find the pictures I critiqued at www.omgyahoo.com and under this weeks '2 Hot 2 Handle'.
Later fashion fans.
